I am a freelance football travel writer and podcaster. I write for magazines, give talks, chair debates, and give guest lectures. Coming from a PR background, I also help brands with their messaging development and train PRs on how to work with influencers.

I have watched football in more than 20 countries and visited many more. English is my first language, but I am also fluent in Spanish and can converse in French and Italian.

I have authored three books: Origin Stories: The Pioneers Who Took Football to the World (2021); The Defiant: A History of Football Against Fascism (2022); and Shades of Green: A Journey into Irish Football (2025), which was talkSPORT's 'Book of the Week'.
My fourth book, Barrio Clubs: Football in the Shadow of Iberian Giants, is out in 2027.
Engaging Talks
I give guest lectures to universities in English and Spanish. I give talks to interest groups, and chair football debates. I've lectured for the University of Bath and given talks for the Football and War Network (University of Wolverhampton) and ANPI (Italian National Partisans Association), among others.
